ISOYG2 is the sequel to a remake of a notorious late 70’s video-nasty. Nobody enjoys this kind of movies (and if you do, you have serious issues and ought to see a shrink) but true horror fanatics appreciate them because – when professionally directed and executed – they are the rawest and most shocking films imaginable. It’s always difficult to review movies like “I Spit on your Grave 2”, the so-called Rape & Revenge subcategory of exploitation cinema. Katie’s outbreak sadly doesn’t end the agony – quite the contrary, in fact – but her hatred and hunger for vengeance increases with every ache she suffers. She manages to escape once, but painfully learns that she’s in a strange country where nobody understands or helps her. Afterwards he calls his brothers and, when Katie next wakes up, she finds herself fully naked and chained in a filthy basement where the physical abuse and humiliation continues.
